OurTools is committed to your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. We do not require account registration. We do not store files you process with our tools. We do not sell or share any user data with third parties.

2. File Processing

All file processing (PDF editing, image compression, text manipulation) happens entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. We have no access to the content of your files.

3. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This collects anonymous usage statistics such as page views, session duration, and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies. No personally identifiable information is collected. You can opt out of Google Analytics by using browser extensions like uBlock Origin or by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.

4. Cookies

We use cookies only for Google Analytics as described above. We do not use cookies for advertising, tracking, or any other purpose.

5. Server-Side Video Processing

Our video tools (Video Compressor, Video Trimmer, Video to MP3, Extract Audio) use server-side processing via our API. For these tools only, your video file is temporarily uploaded to our server for processing, then immediately deleted after you download the result. We do not retain, analyze, or share these files.

6. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics (analytics). All other tools run entirely client-side with no third-party data sharing.

7. Children's Privacy

Our tools are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
